Rafa:
Since the Lord chose me to serve him 13 years ago, I have been involved with different activities in the church. I have led a group of young people, we helped to start a church, and I have been a deacon in the church we attended.
Some years ago we started to co-labor in the ministry of L’Arcada where I work in the maintenance of the camp. I was amazed to see how God was touching the hearts of people. Now I form part of a full-time team as director of maintenance.  I also run a program of discipleship called “McGyver”, in which I teach young people different maintenance jobs (electricity, plumbing, carpentry, etc.) so that they can help in their churches or different ministries. We also help in our church to the extent that it is possible.

Yoli:
I came to know the Lord at the age of 18 in a church in Barcelona. It impressed me how God is very near to those who love him, not far off as I had felt before.
I met Rafa, we got married, and together we serve the Lord in the church. The last few summers we have worked together at L’Arcada. But, in a way that surprised me, the Lord has guided me to serve him with all my time. And I am here, hoping to work at L’Arcada full time with my gifts and for His glory. I am in charge of doing the corrections and translations of all the material that leave L’Arcada, in charge of the store, and I help in different areas like the kitchen, maintenance, service, etc, as needed.

We have two children- Laura, who is 24and is studying elementary education at the University of Girona, and Miquel who is 20 years old and ís studyng a higher-level training course in industrial megatronics.
